Built by a former roofing COO.

Chance Peare founded Framework Ops after serving as COO of a founder-led roofing company. He now works with a small number of contractors on the same problems he ran into there: owner dependence, broken handoffs, numbers nobody trusts, and leadership meetings without follow-through.

background

What he worked on as COO.

As COO of a founder-led roofing company, Chance worked through the problems most growing contractors hit: dispatch dropping balls, A/R aging creeping up, the office running on a few people’s knowledge, and the owner’s inbox getting longer every quarter. His work there covered:

  • Dispatch, scheduling, and the office-to-field handoffs that kept dropping
  • Collections and A/R follow-up
  • Moving the knowledge the office ran on out of a few people’s heads and into documented workflows
  • The weekly scoreboard the leadership team ran from
  • The automations that took routine follow-up off the owner’s plate

He works inside EOS when a client runs it (the scorecard, quarterly rocks, and weekly leadership meeting) and uses a simple weekly operating review when they do not. Ask him about any of this on the call.

working style

How he works with a client.

  • Works inside your systems

In your field software, CRM, accounting, and meetings, with the people who do the work. Not in a separate document about them.

  • Writes down who owns what

Every priority, number, and workflow gets one owner on your team. Which decisions he can make and which stay with you is agreed before work starts.

  • Hands it over

The goal is a team that runs the system without him. Each piece of work ends with training, documentation, and a named owner.

  • Uses AI where it holds up

Automation and AI where they are reliable, monitored so failures surface, and with a person accountable for the output.

why framework ops

Why the firm exists.

Growing contractors reach a point where the owner cannot hold every job, handoff, and number in their head, but the company is not ready for a full-time COO. Framework Ops exists for that stage.

How involved we are is set on the discovery call: a focused assessment or project, or ongoing fractional leadership inside your weekly cadence. Scope, fees, and who owns which decisions are agreed in writing before work starts.

next step

Bring the operational problem you cannot get off your desk.

In 30 minutes we will work out its likely cause, whether Framework Ops can help, and the right next step. Scope and fees follow that conversation, in writing.
